Experience Vejle Fjord together from a kayak or SUP board
For those who love an active day on the water, Rosenvold Strand Camping offers Sit-On-Top kayaks for rent, which are perfect for both beginners and more experienced kayakers as they are much more stable and easier to keep steady than sea kayaks.
With room for 2-3 people, these kayaks are ideal for families or groups of friends who want to spend quality time together on the water.
You can also try your hand at SUP boarding - a fun and active way to experience the fjord that's guaranteed to bring smiles to everyone's faces.
Day trips in a sea kayak
Day trips in a sea kayak are another great way to explore the beautiful coastline that stretches on both sides of Rosenvold Strand Camping. Few places offer such a beautiful coastline with plenty of opportunities to find your own little Robinson Crusoe beach.
To the west into the fjord, the moraine landscape with cliffs up to 20 meters high creates a fantastic backdrop for coastal walks. Depending on the length of the walk, you will pass the ruins of Fakkrgrav Badehotel, the beautiful Vejle Fjord Hotel and perhaps round Træskohage Lighthouse.
To the east, you will quickly pass Rosenvold Castle, after which the forest almost spills out into the Kattegat. This creates a sculptural coastline with crooked trunks reaching out into the sea. On sunny days, the coast's clay content in the water gives the water an almost turquoise color, reminiscent of southern climes.

With optimal conditions and an ideal location right at the mouth of Vejle Fjord, there are plenty of opportunities to try out these exciting water sports.
Both the beach right in front of the campsite and the area east of Rosenvold Harbor are very suitable for rigging equipment.

The campsite offers three different types of accommodation for those who want to enjoy a tent vacation without the hassle of lugging equipment from home. All tent accommodation is fully furnished and ready to welcome you.
Family tent for the big family (2 adults + 4 children)
For large families or groups, Rosenvold Strand Camping offers spacious family tents with plenty of room for up to 6 people. The tent is furnished with a comfortable 140 x 200 cm box spring mattress and two sets of 80 x 200 cm bunk beds, ensuring a good night's sleep for everyone.
Family tent for smaller families (2 adults + 2 children)
For those of you traveling in a smaller constellation, Rosenvold Strand Camping also has a cozy family tent designed for 4 people. Here you will find a similar layout with all necessary kitchen equipment, a fridge with freezer, a dining area and comfortable sleeping conditions.
Tent for 2 people
For the couple or two friends who want a more intimate and mobile camping experience, Rosenvold Strand Camping offers a 2-person tent. This tent can be placed exactly where you want it on the campsite and is equipped with camp beds or air mattresses, folding chairs and the option to borrow a duvet and pillow.
